George Sabbatini

Reference of the Italian Pizzaioli School at the Milan Expo c/o CoopAgriExpo
Giorgio started as a pizza maker at a very young age in his family's pizza joint. He has participated in the most important pizza competitions reaching the title of World Champion in 2017 in the most coveted category - classic pizza, World Champion in 2012 and European Champion in 2011. He has been carrying out consultancy work for years, which has allowed him to make a name for himself and be appreciated in the sector, culminating in the definition of a very important and prestigious collaboration that saw him involved, during 2015, within the Milan Expo, as head of the technical area dedicated to pizza managed by the Confederation of Agricultural Producers (Copagri). Today he is Head of Research and Innovation for the pizza project of Love IT, the first food experience store dedicated to made in Italy, based in the heart of Milan. An instructor at the Italian Pizzaioli School for many years, he attended the PFC Master Instructor course in November 2014.
