Giuseppe Lucia began his professional activity in 1986 working in the family bakery. Since 1987, he began to gain various experiences in the restaurant and pizzeria business while attending several courses in baking and pizzeria.

Founder of the International School of Catering in 2010. In April 2003, together with 8 other colleagues, he formed the "Associazione Pizzaioli Salentini," the first in Apulia with the purpose of training, informing, creating working and purchasing groups to sponsor activities in the Apulian territory, an association with the most women pizza chefs in the world and the only one to have obtained the "Fair Play" recognition at the World Pizza Championship. He is founder of Team Acrobatic Salento, obtaining prestigious national and international awards.

He has been running the pizzeria Zio Giglio in Lecce since 1998. He has been a Master Instructor with Certified Training Path of Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli since 2021.
