Giorgio Sabbatini winner at the Parma 2025 World Championships

Giorgio Sabbatini has “graduated” World Champion in the category Pizza in Pala at the last World Championship in Parma!

His interpretation, “fluffy and fragrant,” won over the jury with a “perfect balance of flavors and impeccable technique,” demonstrating a deep understanding of and respect for the Roman tradition of this beloved specialty.

Giorgio’s success is certainly nothing new.

A pizzaiolo from a very young age in the family restaurant, he has collected an impressive series of awards over the years in the industry’s most prestigious competitions. Among his titles are the World Championship in the Classic Pizza category in 2017, the World Championship in 2012 and the European Championship in 2011.

His passion and expertise have led him to become a highly regarded consultant in the pizza world, opening doors to prestigious collaborations.

Giorgio Sabbatini is Master of Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli, since 2014 and in 2015he was Technical Area Manager dedicated to pizza for Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli at Copagri within Expo Milano.

Giorgio Sabbatini’s victory is a source of pride for Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli and demonstrates the high level of preparation and passion that drives our instructors and the professionals who train with us.
