Back in 1947, in Stuhlfelden, Austria, Wilhelm and Helene Berger had an ambitious goal: to offer ready-made spice blends with consistent flavor quality to sausage producers. Thus from the founder’s first and last name on February 18, 1947, the company name was born: WIBERG.

Since its establishment in 1947, WIBERG has been dedicated to processing refined spices from around the world and producing fine blends of spices, herbs, vinegars and oils as well as sausage casings and ingredients for the food and culinary industry.

Since then, WIBERG has been refining delicious spices from around the world and producing everything that can help enhance taste and pleasure with irresistible quality. WIBERG’s headquarters are located in Salzburg and Freilassing (Germany); there are also many other plants around the world.
